About
Of all the investments a person can make in life, travel is the only one whose benefits stay with us forever and become part of our personal growth.
I started traveling abroad at the age of 20. The first “lesson” I learned was the instinctive comparison with everything that had felt familiar until then. In other words, through my first trips, I had the chance to better understand my own region through the reality of each new country. How do people live here? How do they cook? How do they enjoy themselves? What does friendship mean here?
Whenever I arrive in a new place, which always feels like a blank canvas, I like to use all my senses to build the experience. Still, I am especially drawn to sounds and scents. In this way, travel becomes a true celebration of the senses and of meaningful experiences.
I am also deeply fascinated by the history of each place. I feel lucky to have been born and raised in Chania, a destination that, beyond its natural beauty, holds an extraordinary history shaped by a rich blend of civilizations over the centuries.
I have lived abroad for two years in a multicultural environment, an experience that taught me to appreciate and respect the uniqueness of each nationality. I have been working in tourism and travel experiences for the past five years, and through this work I have learned that not every visitor is looking for the same kind of journey. But for those who are interested in discovering a more special and authentic side of our local character, I consider it an honor to contribute to that experience.
Through Alma de Creta, I have the opportunity to offer travelers a piece of the memories, spirit, and essence of my homeland.
