The Battle of Crete tour

This small-group tour is perfect for history enthusiasts who want to explore the events of World War II in greater depth. During our Battle of Crete tour, we take a closer look at the key moments and locations connected to this historic conflict.

We will visit Galatas and the Ayia Prison Valley, where important battles took place. From above, we will view the Maleme Airfield and the historic Tavronitis Bridge. Along the way, we will stop at war monuments in the surrounding battle areas, as well as small museums, exhibitions, and hidden wartime shelters.

Our final stop includes visits to the German and British Commonwealth war cemeteries, where we reflect on the soldiers who fought and lost their lives during the battle.

Throughout the tour, you will receive detailed insights and historical context about the Battle of Crete and the events of World War II on the island.
